Rachmaninoff's epic Second Symphony spans from beautifully tragic to frenzied excitement and has been one of orchestras' and audiences' favourite pieces for over one hundred years. Alongside it we will open with Curtis Stewart's Drill, a recent piece for strings and prepared drumkit inspired by drill music.
Oxford Concert Orchestra is a non-professional orchestra chosen from outstanding musicians in the university and local community that regularly performs in some of Oxford's best venues including the Sheldonian Theatre and the University Church.
